I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I am working with Dr. Dan Dragomir-Daescu, Dr. Robert Simari, Dr. Gurpreet Sandhu, Dr. David Holmes, Jr., and Dr. Amir Lerman. My research activities include tissue engineered heart valves and magnetically endothelialized vascular stents.

I was born and raised in Buffalo Grove, IL., which is a northwest suburb of Chicago. My interests include playing basketball, reading non-fiction, homebrewing beer, and anything that can make me laugh. I received my Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University in August 2011. I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic where I work on engineering, research, and development projects. I am excited to begin a career that combines my lifelong passion for science, engineering, mathematics, and medicine. Most importantly, I hope my work will improve healthcare for patients worldwide. |
